Located in the North End Complex this is a hole in the wall gem! In all of North Carolina, this is the only place where I have seen them do tacos Al Pastor the way they are suppose to be done, on a stand up Rotisserie with layers of onions & pineapples. Their tacos are very traditional. The Argentinian Empanadas are also traditional with meat and olives.....yes, olives inside. The pastry is the proper format and consistency. Only outdoor seating available but that’s ok. The ladies are very friendly and efficient. You want a Real Taco......this is the place!
BEST Spanish/Latin food I’ve had in years. Everything was so fresh and reasonably priced. Taco Asada, Pupusa Revueltas and Arepa Rumbera. I’ll definitely be back to try their cute little sweet treats.
I ordered two empanadas and a taco asada. These were SO GOOD that I will definitely be going back to try EVERYTHING on the menu. Big love to the ladies in the kitchen for their excellent food!
Authentic tasting tacos found here at Camp North End. The food is a bit pricey, but you are getting some high quality food here. I wanted something small, and I got two al pastor tacos. They were smokey, sweet and savory. I wish had ordered more after I finished the two, but I was in a bit of a rush. There are plenty of benches and seats around the area for you to enjoy the food. You can also walk around the park and find some nice art to see too.
Empanadas were a winner! This was first time checking out Camp North End and I wasn't left disappointed. Even with a long line service was very efficient. I didn't have wait long for my order. My empanada was flavorful and hands down delicious! I wish I would have gotten a second one - it was right at closing when I ordered. I'll definitely be back... and will be sure to order three empanadas.
Delicious tacos, arepas, and pupusas. I’m a slow eater so by the time I finished the taco, the pupusa and arepa were soggy from sitting in the juices of the meat. I don’t like soggy food so I wish I had eaten them in a different order.
Anna-Marie with Offline - We wanted the empanadas but they were out of them. My husband ordered both tacos on rhe menu, they are small but really good. He really loved the warmed salsa as well.
If you planning on coming here plan to spend hours here it was amazing awesome fun for adults food was great
